Monthly Chat Series:
Christmases Past
This activity is hosted by the Society and is free and open to the public, with light refreshments. Starting promptly at 10am at the Oller House, which is decorated in its Victorian holiday charm.
Limited to one hour, while allowing time for greeting old friends and meeting new ones.
A special gift to the area, three Waynesboro Historians Frances Miller, Ruth Gembe and Larry Dean Calimer will recall Christmases through the years in Waynesboro.
Doug Stine invites ALL by: "Fellow history buffs, if you want to know anything and everything about Waynesboro's past Christmas, come to our monthly meet and hear if from our local experts". And Steve Monn states: "that sometimes the best Christmas present is a good story from a Christmas past.”
Gift ideas on display feature books by local authors, periodicals, coasters, pictures or WHS gift memberships.
Your local Historical Society insures future Waynesboro generations will be able to enjoy the Oller House and have access to material for research. We always encourage families to make an album or binder of your family history to be included in the WHS library.
